Every service is meaningful with the spirit of dedication and sacrifice and with this spirit, Sultan-E-Indore Ekta Seva Samiti of Indore has been cremating unknown bodies in a proper manner for the last 28 years. Cremation is one of the sixteen rites of Hindu religion, performing it in a proper manner is an important contribution towards the prosperity of Sanatan Dharma. This praiseworthy work has been going on continuously for the last 28 years under the guidance of social worker Mr. Ashok Goyal. Due to which he has been honored by the Golden Book of World Record.
In a program organized on 12 June 2025 at Hotel Sayaji in Indore, 11250 unidentified bodies have been cremated by Sultan-e-Indore Ekta Seva Samiti between 24 January 1997 and 12 May 2025. Which is confirmed by the Golden Book of World Records. It has been registered in the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Largest Initiative of Cremating Unclaimed Dead Bodies” in the name of ‘Sultan-e-Indore Ekta Seva Samiti’. In the presence of Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Swami Chetan of Akhanddham and Pandit Mr. Nilesh Tiwari (Pujari of Shani Mandir Juni Indore), Dr. Manish Vishnoei (Asia Head, GBWR) awarded the record certificate to social worker Ashok Goyal ji and his associates Mr. Jaydeep Joshi, Mr. Navneet Shukla, Mr. Rajkumar Mehta, Mr. Vijayendra Yadav and from Sultan-E-Indore Ekta Seva Samiti Mr. Kareem Pathan, Mr. Firoz Pathan, Mr. Anil Mahajan, Mr. Rinku Thakur, Mr. Hemant Sharma and Dr. Anil Mahajan.
In this program, Mr. Hari Agrawal, Mr. Mahendra Songara, Mr. Manoj Verma, Mr. Kishore Goyal, Mr. Govind Agrawal, Mr. Shailendra Mittal, Mr. Sant Rajanand and Mr. Lakshman Prabhu were presented as special guests. Guests were welcomed by Mr. Rambabu Agrawal, Mr. Sandesh Khandelwal, Mr. Omprakash Nareda, Mr. Naresh Sharma and Mr. Sushil Sureka. A large number of officials of religious and social organizations of the city also attended the program and honored Ashok Goyal and his team and also congratulated them for creating a record.
