PSP Projects Limited has carved its name into history by accomplishing one of the most challenging and ambitious construction feats ever attempted. The company successfully executed the largest raft casting for religious infrastructure at the Vishv Umiya Dham Temple, Ahmedabad, an achievement officially recognized by the Golden Book of World Records.

The Feat in Numbers

● Continuous Casting Duration: 54 hours of non-stop work

● Concrete Volume: ~24,100 cubic meters of specially engineered ECOMaxX M45 low-carbon concrete

● Raft Dimensions: approx. 450 ft × 400 ft × 8 ft

● Manpower & Resources: 600+ engineers and skilled workers, 285 transit mixers, and 26 batching plants working in perfect synchronization

● Structure Supported: The feat was done for constructing Wolrld’s tallest temple: the upcoming Jagat Janani Maa Umiya Temple, 504 ft. tall with more than 1,500 Dharma Stambhs (pillars)

Why It Was So Difficult:

Casting execution of this magnitude is far from ordinary. It required uninterrupted pouring of concrete for over two days and two nights, with zero margin for error.

Unbroken Supply Chain:
Every mixer, plant, and worker had to function with military precision. A single delay could have created cold joints or structural weaknesses.

Concrete Quality & Thermal Control:
Pouring such massive volumes generates extreme heat during curing. Engineers had to design mixes, monitor hydration, and manage temperature to prevent cracks that could compromise the foundation.

Logistical Mastery:
Coordinating hundreds of vehicles and workers, ensuring 24/7 availability of raw materials, and maintaining round-the-clock supervision demanded flawless planning.

Scale & Pressure:
Unlike ordinary construction, this raft was designed to support a 504 ft spiritual monument, making its structural integrity absolutely critical. In essence, this feat was a battle against time, physics, and logistics, and PSP emerged victorious.

Recognition by Golden Book of World Records

The achievement was formally acknowledged and recognized by the Golden Book of World Records (GBWR) under the category “Largest Raft Casting Executed for Religious Infrastructure.” India head of GBWR, Mr. Alok Kumar handed over the provisional certificate to Mr. Prahlad S. Patel (PSP Projects Limited), R. B. Patel (Visv Umiya Foundation), and Mr. Vinod Bahety (Adani Cement)for achieving this extraordinary feat.

Mr. Alok Kumar said, “This recognition places the project alongside some of the greatest engineering accomplishments worldwide, highlighting India’s ability to deliver mega infrastructure projects at par with the global best.”

Beyond Engineering: Cultural and Environmental Impact

Spiritual Legacy: The foundation will anchor Vishv Umiya Dham, envisioned as a 60-acre spiritual and cultural landmark for generations to come.

Sustainability: By using low-carbon ECOMaxX concrete, PSP reduced emissions by nearly 60%, proving that scale and sustainability can go hand in hand.

National Pride: The record demonstrates India’s growing capability in advanced civil engineering, placing Gujarat at the center of global recognition.

A new history created in infrastructure development:

PSP Projects Limited’s record-breaking feat is not just about size- it is about precision under pressure, teamwork under impossible odds, and vision translated into reality.

By earning recognition from the Golden Book of World Records, PSP has ensured that the foundation of Vishv Umiya Dham is not only strong in engineering terms but also immortal in history.
