Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) of Indore Crime Branch, Mr. Rajesh Dandotia, set a unique record in the field of de-addiction and got his name registered in the Golden Book of World Records through the drug awareness session organized at Allen Career Institute, Indore on 19 July 2025.

3,123 students participated in this historic session. It is a matter of pride not only for Madhya Pradesh but the entire country that a police officer organized a de-addiction awareness program on such a large scale, in which children as well as teachers and society were also made aware. The topic of this session included in the world record was: “Drugs and Narcissism – Growing trend among youth and its solution”. During the session, Mr. Dandotia gave information to the children on the types of addiction, its mental and physical effects, and measures to prevent it. Also, by interacting with the children in an interactive manner, he made them take an oath to remain aware against drug abuse. The program was certified by the team of Golden Book of World Records and it was recorded with the title “Largest session on Drugs Awareness

Dr. Manish Vishnoei, Asia Head, Golden Book of World Records, said in a statement after the session, “This initiative of Mr. Rajesh Dandotiya is not only a world record but also an effort to give the right direction to the youth in today’s society.” It is indeed a great thing to take out time from the difficult and challenging work of the police and do a sensitive and important work like drugs so effectively and interestingly for the society, especially children. For such an effective session in front of such a large number of children in today’s session, the name of Mr. Rajesh Dandotia is being inscribed in golden letters in the Golden Book of World Records. GBWR representative Mr. Manoj Kumar Shukla gave a certificate to Mr. Rajesh Dandotia and put a medal on him.

Shri Rajesh Dandotia (Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Indore) has been running a campaign against drug abuse in the society for the last few years. He has given the form of a mass movement to the “Say No to Drugs” campaign by conducting dozens of sessions in schools, colleges, slum areas and youth settlements. The videos of your sessions are also quite popular on social media.
