The voter awareness program “Sankalppatra Maha Abhiyan” was organized in the Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh. This program was organized by the Education Department, Mungeli under the guidance of District Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Rahul Dev ji (IAS).
In Chhattisgarh’s Bemetara district, a special event for women’s voter awareness was organized in every ward of every urban body and every Gram Panchayat of the district. This program was organized under the able guidance and leadership of District Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Ranbir Sharma (IAS) and CEO Zila Panchayat Mr. Techand Agrawal to make women aware of voting and motivate them to vote. During the program, at a fixed time, thousands of women voters took oath to vote in every ward of every urban body and every Gram Panchayat and also at other district headquarters.
In Chhattisgarh’s Balod district, the district administration launched a mega campaign ‘Chunai Jagar’ every house contact campaign to motivate people to vote, under which a large number of invitation cards were delivered to the voters’ homes and they were appealed to use their right to vote by casting their vote in the upcoming elections.
The 93rd Martyr’s Day was celebrated in Shastri Nagar, the country’s capital Delhi. A program was organized under the leadership and guidance of Mr. Yadvinder Singh Sandhu, grandson of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and National President of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade and Behen Annu Arora Charitable Trust. During this, the people present paid tribute to the brave sons of Mother India, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru and honoured their sacrifice.
Shri Laxminarayan Dev Mahila Mandal, the women’s wing of Shri Swaminarayan Sampradaya Shri Laxminarayan Dev Gadi, Vadtal, started a campaign called “Cervical Cancer Eradication Campaign” to protect the mothers and sisters of the country from a serious disease like cervical cancer. During this special campaign, vaccination camps were organized for the prevention and control of cervical cancer.
This act of women writing the maximum number of letters to the Prime Minister of the country was recorded as a world record by the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Largest Campaign of Writing Post Cards by Women”.
