Voting is an integral part of democracy, everyone has the right to vote. Voter participation in the democratic and electoral process is an integral part of running any democracy successfully. Voting is a means through which the public can choose suitable leaders for themselves, and exercise their franchise to run the political system. Voting is more than a right, it is a duty of every citizen towards their country, which can significantly affect the future of our country. Voting helps in keeping politicians accountable for their actions and sets the framework for our democracy. It is important to motivate people to vote to have a say in the decisions taken about the country and voting is one of the most important ways to do this. Voter awareness campaigns are important to increase awareness about the voting process and encourage people to participate in elections.
