Tadasana yoga may look very easy, but it is very effective. Tadasana is also called Samasthiti. The word Tad means mountain in Sanskrit, on which this asana is named. Doing this yoga increases height. Also, the digestive system becomes strong, blood circulation in the body happens properly, and knees, ankles and arms also get strengthened. The birth date of Swami Vivekananda, one of the great men of India, is celebrated as National Youth Day to inspire the youth of the country. On the occasion of National Youth Day, a special yoga camp was organized by NSS (National Service Scheme) under the guidance of Dr. Bidyut K. Mal in Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University campus, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. In this yoga camp, a world record was set by 79,300 people jointly practising Tadasana under the leadership of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, who was present as the chief guest. This amazing feat of the maximum number of people practising Tadasana at the same time was recorded as a world record by the Golden Book of World Records with the title of ” Most People Performing Tadasana Yoga “. To do Tadasana yoga, first spread a mat in a clean place, and now stand in the attention posture. After this, wave both hands in the air take them up, and join them together. Then join both hands and bring them on your head. In this sequence, keep in mind that you stand on your toes while waving your knees in the air, and the heels of the feet should be joined to each other. After this, again lift the hands above the head and take them up and then come to the attention posture by waving the hands in the air. After staying in this posture for a few moments, repeat it alternately. Whenever you do this yoga, keep the breathing process normal. Do Tadasana yoga at least 10 times daily.
