Jyoti Vilas Vinchankar of Akola created a world record by threading the maximum number of eyebrows in one hour.

Mrs. Jyoti Vilas Vinchankar from Akola, Maharashtra, started working in a beauty parlour at the age of just 12 years  Jyoti, who belonged to a middle-class family, completed her graduation with hard work and dedication while continuing her studies along with working in a beauty parlour.  Jyoti who has gained fame in society and the region as a reputed beautician, performed an extraordinary feat on 16 February 2019 by doing eyebrow threading of 101 women in just one hour. The name of Mrs. Jyoti Vilas Vinchankar was recorded in the Golden Book of World Records as a world record with the title of “Most Eyebrows Threading in One Hour” for doing the most eyebrow threading in one hour. Jyoti set a new record by breaking the record of Sri Lanka’s Ms Thushari Dehipitiya by threading 33 eyebrows in an hour by more than three times. Jyoti received a lot of praise for this achievement. Many distinguished citizens of the society and area congratulated him for doing this extraordinary work and creating a world record.

Mrs Jyoti Vilas Vinchankar has been working as a beauty expert for almost 30 years and also has her private parlour named Roshni Herbal Beauty Parlor in Akola. Jyoti instead of keeping this skill limited to herself, has also worked to spread it to different sections of society. You have also worked with famous film actor Aamir Khan under the aegis of the famous organization, Paani Foundation. As a reputed beautician, Mrs Jyoti Vilas Vinchankar is seen as a role model for women today.
