But apart from being fun, it is also very helpful in weight loss, with its help you can easily reduce the fat accumulated around the stomach and waist. To do a hula hoop one has to exert full force in the waist. This exercises the muscles from the shoulders to the legs. Especially the waist gets the right shape. It is not difficult to learn it either. It is slow in the beginning but with continuous practice, you can do it well. You can burn the same number of calories by doing 15 minutes of hula hooping as you burn by exercising on a treadmill for 1 hour. If children’s talent is recognized right from childhood, they can do wonders. Little Lovya Maheshwari from Jaipur, Rajasthan did something similar. Lovya, daughter of Mr. Abhishek Maheshwari and Mrs. Khushboo Maheshwari, at the age of just three years, achieved such a feat by rotating the hula hoop around her waist 154 times that she set a world record. This amazing feat of little Lovya was recorded as a world record by the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Most Hula Hoop Spin Performed Around the Waist in One Minute”. There was a lot of joy among Lovya’s parents and family members on this achievement. The family and other people also sent their best wishes to little Lowya on getting her name registered in the Golden Book of World Records.
