Due to this special love and affection towards Mauleshbhai Ukani, thousands of people donated blood to the blood donation festival “Vishwabandhu Mahablood Donation Festival” organized on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The speciality of this blood donation festival was that Mr. Mauleshbhai Ukani was weighed 6 times with the blood collected during the blood donation festival. This was a wonderful work done out of love and dedication towards Mauleshbhai Ukani on the occasion of his 60th birthday. This unique feat of weighing the blood of a particular individual by donating blood to the maximum number of people was recorded as a world record by the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “First Feat of Weighing an Individual With Donated Blood”. The official provisional certificate of the world record was given by Mr. Alok Kumar, India Head, GBWR, who was specially present at the festival. On the announcement of world records, special enthusiasm was seen among the guests and blood donors present at the festival. The blood donated in the Blood Donation Mahotsav will increase the capacity of the blood banks by supplying blood not only to the blood banks of Rajkot but also to the Civil Blood Bank of Ahmedabad. There was special cooperation from all religions and castes in making the Vishwabandhu Maha Blood Donation Mahotsav successful.

Apart from this, tireless efforts were made by the members and students of many educational, social and service organizations including Rajkot Swanibhar School Management Board, Students of Ayurveda and Nursing College, Samarpan Charitable Trust, NCC, NSS, Gardi Vidyapeeth Homeopath, and Kadva Patidar Samaj to make the Mahotsav a success.
