In Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Dainik Bhaskar created history by delivering Prasad of Siddha Shaktipeeth of Maa Mahamaya located in Ratanpur along with its copy to the homes of about 40 thousand readers. This unique initiative was taken by Dainik Bhaskar and Shri Mahamaya Devi Mandir Trust to commemorate the completion of 30 years of establishment of Dainik Bhaskar Bilaspur Edition Chhattisgarh. The temple of Maa Mahamaya Mata located in Ratanpur was built during the reign of Ratnadev I, since then till today this holy Shaktipeeth has been the centre of faith not only in Bilaspur but in the entire country. Devotees from all over the country come here to take the darshan of Shri Mahamaya Devi and pray for the fulfilment of their wishes.

Dainik Bhaskar Bilaspur and Shri Mahamaya Devi Mandir Trust, respecting this faith of the devotees and taking care of its purity and sanctity from packing to distribution of Prasad, distributed Siddha Shaktipeeth to 40 thousand houses on the special occasion of the foundation day of Dainik Bhaskar Bilaspur. The Prasad of Shri Mahamaya Devi Temple, Ratanpur was delivered with its special issue. This effort of distributing dry fruit Prasad to the maximum number of houses along with newspaper was recorded as a world record by the prestigious Organization Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Largest Distribution of Dry Fruit Prasad”. After inspecting the entire process at Dainik Bhaskar’s printing plant at Sirgitti by Sonal Rajesh Sharma, representative of Golden Book of World Records, the official certificate was presented to the entire team of Dainik Bhaskar including the Editor of Dainik Bhaskar Bilaspur Mr Harsh Pandey, Unit Head Mr Ashish Gautam and Trustee of Shri Mahamaya Devi Temple Mr Sunil Sonthalia. On this achievement of Dainik Bhaskar, best wishes were sent by Dr. Manish Vishnoei, Asia Head of the Golden Book of World Records.

Earlier, on its 29th foundation day, Dainik Bhaskar Bilaspur had prepared the masthead of Dainik Bhaskar from train parts in which the weight of the parts used was 12 tonnes. Taking this trend forward, this year Dainik Bhaskar team and Shri Mahamaya Devi Temple Trust together established a world record by doing this historic work of Prasad distribution. In making this process of Prasad distribution successful, apart from the Chairman of Maa Mahamaya Mandir Trust Ratanpur Mr. Ashish Singh Ji, Managing Trustee Mr. Arun Sharma, Mr. Satish Sharma, Mr. Manrakhan Jaiswal, Mr. Ritesh Juneja, Mr. Anil Khandelwal, Mr. Dharmendra Chandel and Mr. Shakti Singh Thakur along with all the other members of the Trust and the entire team of Dainik Bhaskar had a special contribution.
