His love for music and musician sometimes makes him do such things he inscribes his name and the name of his favorite musician in golden letters. One such art lover is Shri Pushpendra Singh Wadhwa who is a resident of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Educated with MBA, Pushpendra Ji is a Regional Sales Manager in a Pharmaceutical company by profession, but his attachment to Indian music is unique. Pushpendra was fond of collecting songs since childhood. He has collected the maximum number of songs composed by RD Burman aka Pancham da which is 2072 (two thousand seventy-two) in number. After collecting such a large number of songs, he contacted the Golden Book of World Records and shared the information, claiming that such a collection of songs that he has done is a unique work. It should be taken as a world record, after which the team of Golden Book of World Records while accepting the application, checked the record, in which they found that no one in the world has such a large collection of musician RD Burman. After which on 1 February 2023, the certificate of world record with the title “Largest Collection of Songs by Maestro R. D. Burman” was given by the Golden Book of World Records, and the certificate was given preserving this collection as a world record.
Indian playback singer self near Pushpendra ji. Shri Kishore Kumar also holds the record for collecting the maximum number of songs. He holds the world record for highest total collection of 2804 by Kishore Kumar in the year 2014 from the Golden Book of World Records.
Even today Pushpendra ji is increasing his collection by making two world records of collection in the field of music, dreaming of doing something new and big.
