This work, which got the credit of the first book written in poetic form by the poets of the 55 players who received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, had to touch the provisional step of public fame. It was also decided to register it as a world record in the Golden Book of World Records, a world-renowned organization that records world records. Finally, the auspicious day came on 25th June 2022 when this book published by KBS Prakashan, Delhi was entered in the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “First Poetry Book On Khelratna Awardees”. The inclusion of such a unique book in the world record is, on the one hand, a genuine respect for the unique contribution of our country’s sportspersons; on the other hand, it is also a sign of immense respect for the poets who penned them.
