Harsha Verma, the daughter of Chhattisgarh, who is called the rice bowl, using her time during the lockdown, has created a picture of Chhattisgarh Mahatari with paddy para and seeds through her art. His art was awarded the certificate of world record by registering in the Golden Book of World Records with the title “Largest artwork created from paddy straw” for making such a large-size painting from paddy straw.
20-year-old Harsha Verma, a resident of Mandir Hasaud, says that she is currently a final year student of BSC Computer Science at Degree Girls College, Raipur. Your father Shri Laxman Verma ji runs a grocery shop. While her mother Seema Verma Ji is a skilled homemaker, she is also the president of a women’s self-help group. Harsha, the youngest of three sisters, has been a meritorious student from the beginning and has always stood first in the class till class 12th. Apart from this, she had also topped the BSC second-year examination. Harsha Verma further told that he learned para art by going to Monet during the summer vacations and using his time in lockdown given the global corona pandemic, worked hard for ten consecutive days and prepared a beautiful para art of Chhattisgarh Mahtari of size 3’6″×2’6″ on 10 April 2020. Everyone appreciated this para art on social media. After this, the certificate of Golden Book of World Records was given on this work by Chhattisgarh’s Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Dahria in his government office in the presence of GBWR authorized reporter Mrs. Sonal Rajesh Sharma. On this occasion, the Urban Administration Minister of Chhattisgarh, while wishing Harsha a bright future, said that Harsha has not only worked to increase the pride of Chhattisgarh but also the temple Hasaud at the world level. The way he has presented Chhattisgarh Mahatari through Para Art is praiseworthy.
Ms. Harsha Verma has made figures of many great men including Bhagat Singh ji, Swami Vivekananda ji, Rabindranath Tagore ji, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ji, Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, Narendra Modi ji from the year 2013 till now. Recently, with the hard work of almost a month, he has made the figure of Bharat Mata of 8×4 size. Her Excellency the Governor of Chhattisgarh Ms. Anusuiya Uike ji has told me to send this photo to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for perusal. Harsha Verma says that only rare people make para art. Making paintings from paddy straw is a matter of pride for Chhattisgarh. Dedicating this wonderful picture of Bharat Mata to the Prime Minister and the President, I would like to take the certificate from their hands. Apart from the artist, Harsha Verma is also an NSS Volunteer, Teacher, Social worker, and President of Naya Kadam Jansanstha NGO. Naya Kadam NGO provides pads, masks, and clothes to the needy and also helps poor students with free education.
