Television Queen- Ekta Kapoor

At an early age, Ms Ekta Kapoor achieved many great achievements which are not possible for an ordinary person. Ekta Kapoor started her career at the very young age of 17 years. Initially, you decided to try your luck by participating in shootings with ad and feature film producer Shri Kailash Surendranath ji but failed there. Later, on the advice of your father, the famous actor Mr Jitendra, you started television serials under the banner of Balaji creations. You made 6 stories and 3 episodes but unfortunately, the initial phase was not successful. After a lot of hard work, you made a serial called “Hum Paanch” which was very successful, and since then you never looked back.

Ms Ekta Kapoor ji was born on 7 June 1975 in the house of famous film actors Mr Jitendra Kapoor ji and Mrs Shobha Kapoor ji. You studied at Bombay Scottish School and later at Mithibai College. Ekta ji has produced many shows operas television series and films. Your most popular television serial “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” started airing in the year 2000 on Star Plus channel. You have produced more than 8 television shows on Star Plus. One of the most remarkable things about your creativity is that all your programs often start with the name “K” which you consider lucky. You have appeared in many television serials like Padosan, Kuch Khona Hai Kuch Paana Hai, Kahiin To Milenge, Kesar, Karam Apna Apna, Gumrah, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Savdhaan India, Kumkum, Kasam Tere Pyar Ki, Naagin, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kasauti Zindagi. Apart from many serials, Ms Ekta ji has also produced many films under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures like Kyunki Main Jhooth Nahi Bolta, Kya Kool Hain Hum, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Ragini MMS and many more.

You have also been honoured with many awards from time to time for your excellent work. In the year 2012, you were honoured with the Indo-American Society Awards of Asia and Bharat Gaurav Achievement Awards in 2014, the Indian Television Academy Awards in 2017, the Forbes Tycoon of Tomorrow in 2018, and the Maharashtra Achievers Awards in 2019. So far you have received hundreds of awards, in the year 2020 the Government of India has honoured you with the prestigious honour of Padma Shri.
