Man has a very old relationship with art. Perhaps painting is the oldest art learned by man through which he can express his feelings. Humans started making cave paintings in the stone age itself. Ancient evidence of human depiction has been found in the caves and caves of Hoshangabad and Bhimbetka areas. Even today, art has an important place in human life, the purpose of every artistic process is the expression of beauty and pleasure. Man is a social animal and in this form, he manifests his feelings and thoughts. This is possible only through the art of manifestation or manifestation. Since ancient times, considering art as equivalent to literature and music, it has been said to be necessary for man. Colours are the easiest way to convert negative energy into positive energy. Shri Bhritrihari has written in his Niti Shatak that a man without literature, music, and art, despite having no tail and horns, is just like an animal….साहित्य संगीत कला विहीनः, साक्षातपशु पुच्छ विषाण हीनः।
It is said that a person paints with his mind, not with his hands. This is 100 per cent applicable to Mr Nirbhay Singh Rai, a resident of Sangrur, Punjab. Born on April 20, 1970, Mr Nirbhay Singh Rai’s father, Mr Mukhtyar Singh left home when he was very young, as a result, the responsibility of upbringing fell on his mother, Mrs Bhajan Kaur. Due to extreme financial problems, studies could not be done. You could study only till class 10th, yes from childhood God had given you the magical skill of painting, which you started using since childhood. When he grew up, he started teaching in a private school to make ends meet, but could not work there for long and left it to pursue his original hobby of painting full-time.
Now you have started making one unique painting more than the other. In the year 2015, one of your students brought the newspaper and showed you the news of a person making a world record, you asked the child if I can also make a world record, and after getting a positive answer, you started in this direction. After making about one thousand paintings of various types, your records were also registered in some organizations, but your wish was to register your name in the Golden Book of World Records, a world-renowned organization. As a result, you contacted the institution’s office and sent the application. With the help of about four lakh fifty-five thousand (455000) mustard seeds, you made a painting of the famous saint Reverend Baba Bulleshah Ji, which was included in the Golden Book of World Records on 25 July 2015 with the title “Artwork with the largest number of mustard seed”. After this, as if your fame and creativity got wings, then you made many more paintings in different creative ways, some of which were again included in the Golden Book of World Records. After this, 102000 small size circles were included in the Golden Book of World Records with the title “Artwork created with the most number of circles” by Martyr Azam Bhagat Singh ji with the title “Artwork created with the most number of circles” and then Charlie Chaplin’s best painting through 94500 different types of watercolour boxes with the title “Artwork created with the most number of colour filled boxes”. After this, once again you made a beautiful painting of Queen Elizabeth Ji through 20496 horizontal and vertical line boxes (9 different coloured lines in each box) and registered your name in the world record with the title “Artwork with the most number of colour filled line boxes”. Apart from this, other artworks will soon be included in the form of world records.
In the same way, you kept making unique paintings by doing new experiments daily and became famous all over the country. You are often honoured with various awards, but Mr Nirbhay Singh ji is constantly engaged in his art-like practice with complete simplicity. Today your name is taken with great respect as a creative artist.
