Nature has blessed only mothers with the unique treasure of affection. Many human beings do not get the good fortune to drink nectar in the form of nectar from this treasure. From time to time, the Supreme Father God sends such goddesses on the earth who are present in the form of God’s image to give the happiness of Mother’s lap to orphans and destitute people.
We are talking about one such goddess who woke up early in the morning and was just preparing breakfast for the children so that the children can have breakfast before going to school, but then her phone rang. There is a sound from there that a newborn girl has been found at a certain place, she is crying a lot, you come quickly or else………. The voice of the next was not even completed yet when you cut the phone saying, you wait there, I am leaving immediately. Son tells the children to have breakfast and keep the tiffin and while saying this, leaves the house for the mentioned place without delay. After reaching there, she picks up the newborn and first caresses it like a mother, then takes her to a doctor she knows and shows him whether the newborn baby needs any medicine immediately.
For the last three decades, this has become an essential part of the life of Dr Rani Awasthi, a resident of Ayodhya. The only purpose of your life is to remove the suffering of more and more people, be it orphan children, deaf and dumb, mentally weak, orthopedically or elderly and homeless people. You have widened the scope of your service to humanity. You have opened a deaf-and-dumb school in Ayodhya, where hundreds of deaf-and-dumb children are being educated and making them self-reliant, they are getting a perfect place in the society.
Apart from this, you have enriched the lives of hundreds of girls by educating them and getting them married. For the sake of an innocent child, you have come in front of you as the real mother of the world. The stigmatized and gruesome form of society is seen when someone throws his small child in the orphan, abandoned, dustbin, fields or on the road. On receiving such children, you take responsibility for their upbringing in every way. The saga of your services is sung from within the country to abroad for the work you are doing to stop feticide. Unfortunately, in this work of yours, the government administration, people from higher strata of society, industrialists, politicians etc. do not get that level of cooperation that is needed. Still, you keep moving forward on your path of providing all possible help to thousands of children, women, and elderly people who need help, without crying any sorrow.
Due to these services, you are being awarded many respects and awards. You were given the title of ‘Best Lady Social Worker’ by the Faizabad Administration in 1998, you were given the ‘Best Social Worker’ award by the Disabled Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh. You were given the ‘Best Woman’ award by the Biographical Institute of America. Jawaharlal Nehru Women’s Child Welfare Committee has decorated you with the decoration of ‘Vishisht Mahila Social Worker’. In 2002, you have been given the ‘Special Service Award’ by the Education Minister of the state. You were honoured in 2006 by the Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. You have also been decorated with the prestigious ‘Mati Ratan Samman’, famous as the Nobel Prize of Purvanchal. Apart from all these, you have also been awarded hundreds of other prestigious honours, but you remain engaged in service work without paying attention to all these.
