About twenty years ago, Mr. Milind Ponkshe ji saw that girls have to be victims of many types of exploitation, in this physical exploitation is the main one. Milind ji was even more surprised to know that most of the physical abusers of girls are their own close ones and girls are not able to speak against them. In schools and colleges also, they have to be victims of exploitation verbally, symbolically, functionally. To overcome this serious problem of girls, Milind ji decided to go around schools, colleges etc. . Mr. Milind Ponkshe ji has formed the organization “Jaaniv” to run this campaign widely and Aarti ji is performing the important responsibility of secretary in this organization.
With the aim of making girls aware about safety and good and bad touch, Shri Milind ji decided to start lectures and the first lecture was organized on 6 August 2015 at Anusuiya School, Virar. Mr. Milind ji and Ms. Aarti ji started going among girls of 12 to 18 years of age, later going among girls of other age groups, explaining and telling them. You started a great campaign to tell girls about values, to remove fear from their minds and to awaken them against exploitation. The police there also have full cooperation in this work of yours. Under the aegis of Bhadhya Sanstha, you give lectures in schools and colleges on various topics like safety of girls, good and bad touch, leadership quality, I want to build my country, study skills etc. Many lectures have been organized so far on various topics. One day Mr. Milind ji thought that why the world record should be registered for this work, in this connection he contacted the Golden Book of World Records office and sent the application. Seeing the greatness of your works, on 3 October 2016, under the banner of Bhadhya Sanstha, 102nd lecture on women’s safety was organized due to the efforts of Mr. Milind ji and Ms. Aarti ji in collaboration with Palghar District Police, Maharashtra. Together, more than 25000 girls have been sensitized by the organization so far, this program has been recorded in golden letters in the Golden Book of World Records with the title “most workshops organized on women protection”. This honor of world record was actually the honor of your spiritual practice. Shri Milind Ponkshe ji was praised everywhere for this extraordinary achievement and everyone saluted your sacrifice and spiritual practice. Milind ji has been continuously expanding his work and has organized 655 free workshops under the auspices of Bhadhya Sanstha. Keeping deep respect towards women, at present another new campaign is being run by you and people are being motivated to add the name of both the parents with their name.
