In a historic achievement, Nyaay Balar, a 13-year 07-month 25-day-old prodigy from Vadodara, Gujarat, has created a Golden Book of World Records by securing the highest score in a blindfolded 10M air pistol men’s shooting match. Demonstrating extraordinary precision and calmness under challenge, Nyaay scored an impressive 322 out of 400, a feat that has stunned shooting enthusiasts and experts alike.

The record-setting attempt was performed under the mentorship of Mr. Vishrut Parmar (The ROR Sports Academy) and Mr. Kushagra Pandya (HOMBA). Son of Ms. Mital and Dr. Bhavin Balar, Nyaay’s accomplishment has brought immense pride to his family, coaches, and the city of Vadodara.

The program was witnessed by Dr. Manish Vishnoei, Asia Head of the Golden Book of World Records, who personally lauded Nyaay’s exceptional performance. After the successful attempt, Dr. Vishnoei felicitated him with the provisional certificate of the Golden Book of World Records, officially recognizing his achievement at the international level.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vishnoei said: “What young Nyaay has accomplished today is nothing short of inspirational. Blindfolded shooting is not just about skill, it is about inner discipline and mental strength. He has set an example for youth across the world.”

Expressing his joy, Nyaay Balar shared: “I feel very happy and motivated to achieve this record. Shooting blindfolded taught me to trust my inner focus and intuition. I dedicate this record to my parents and my mentors who guided me at every step.”

His mother, Ms. Mital Balar, said: “It is a proud moment for us as parents. Nyaay’s hard work and discipline have brought this recognition to our family and to Vadodara.”

Coach Mr. Vishrut Parmar added: “Shooting requires extreme concentration, but blindfolded shooting elevates the sport to another level. Nyaay’s determination, even at such a young age, proves that with proper guidance and practice, limits can be surpassed.”

Further elaborating on the unique training, Mr. Kushagra Pandya of HOMBA said: “Blindfolded shooting is based on the concept of third eye activation. Through specific techniques, the mind learns to perceive beyond eyesight and connect with inner intuition. Nyaay mastered this discipline with dedication, which is why he was able to align his shots so precisely even without vision. This achievement proves the power of focus, awareness, and higher consciousness in sports.”

Pistol shooting is a precision sport where even the tiniest movement can change the trajectory of a shot. The challenge is further heightened in blindfolded shooting, which relies on sensory awareness and the deeper faculties of the mind. With practices like third eye activation, the act transforms into not only a competitive sport but also a meditative journey — blending discipline, intuition, and inner vision.
