On 7th January 2026; ‘Wooden Homes India‘ has etched its name in the Golden Book of World Records after completing the construction of a 363 sq. ft. A-frame wooden cottage in an astounding 7 hours and 47 minutes, surpassing the targeted 8-hour benchmark and setting a new World Record. The record attempt took place during the ’32nd All India Builders Convention’ at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Goa, one of the most prestigious conventions in the Indian construction industry.
The feat was officially recognized by the Golden Book of World Records, an internationally acknowledged record-keeping company, which issued a provisional certificate of excellence to commemorate the achievement. Dr. Manish Vishnoei, Asia Head of the Golden Book of World Records, validated the timing and technical compliance of the build, ensuring that the achievement met stringent record verification standards. Dr. Vishnoei felicitated the provisional certificate of the World Record to Mr. Caesar Fernandes, the Founder of Wooden Homes India, in the presence of Mr. Pramod Sawant, the Chief Minister of Goa.
