Music in itself is a unique spiritual practice and the seeker associated with it is a Yogi. Such sadhaks have been taking birth on Indian soil and are proficient in more than one discipline at the same time. Professor of Music Dr Balram Arya, a resident of Mirzapur village in Faridabad, Haryana, is such a wonderful seeker. Despite having a connection with music, you are making many world records in the field of yoga by sculpting small children and making them shine at the international level.
Mr Balram Arya was born on August 12, 1989, in the lap of ex-serviceman Mr Mahipal Arya and Mrs Asha Yadav, residents of Mirzapur village of Faridabad. After doing his early education at a nearby school, he did his graduation in music from Nehru College, Faridabad and post-graduated from Government College, Gurugram. Due to the better atmosphere in the family towards music and songs and due to the efficient guidance of grandfather Mr Ishwar Singh Arya Ji, the trend in music increased. Later, Dr Manmohan Krishna Bhardwaj met him as a music teacher. Furthering his studies, he became a Professor of Music after completing his M.Phil and H.D in Music from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak and passing the National Level Eligibility Test.
Along with being fond of music, Dr Balram Arya had a strong attraction towards yoga since childhood, so he used to learn yoga in school. You believe that music makes the mind healthy and yoga makes the body healthy, that’s why when you became a professor, the thought came to your mind that why not teach yoga to the students? You wanted to make this plan of yours a reality and started teaching yoga to children. You say, that through yoga we can remove all the diseases of our body as well as build our character. You established an organization called “Manaviya Nirman Manch” and systematically started teaching yoga to children, as a result, in June 2018, four of your children made world records in yoga and registered their names in the Golden Book of World Records, a world-renowned organization. 7-year-old Kumari Keerti performed Chin Shalabhasan for 16 minutes and 9 seconds. Master Piyush, 9 years old, performed Tulasan for 3 minutes 42 seconds. 14-year-old Kumari Kiran registered her name in the Golden Book of World Records by doing Shirshasana for 1 hour 5 minutes and 19-year-old Amit by doing 10 asanas holding fire from a twenty feet height pole. The National Head of the Golden Book of World Records Mr. Alok Kumar personally observed the entire program and then recommended to be registered in the World Records.
On this achievement of his children, Dr. Balram Arya ji’s spirits got wings and now you got involved in this direction with even more enthusiasm. In the year 2019, after tireless efforts and one year of rigorous practice, your children jumped higher and once again registered their names in the Golden Book of World Records by creating 23 world records. Miss Chanchal did Vrishchikasana, Miss Nisha did Shashankasana, Master Satish did Mayurasana, Miss Hemlata did Chakrachalasana, Miss Varsha did eight easy ones by keeping a lamp on her forehead, Master Akash also did fifteen easy ones by keeping a lamp on her forehead.
