Pandit Shri Rajendra Joshi ji, who is known by the name of Raju Maharaj with respect and affection, registered his name in the Golden Book of World Records in the year 2013 by performing Akhand Shree Yagya Mahalakshmi Mahayagya for 216 hours continuously. Pandit ji, who believed in “Nar Seva to Narayan Seva”, was born in the famous city of Madhya Pradesh, Indore, known as Mini Mumbai. Initially, because of taking technical education, you did various types of related work, but because your father was counted among the world famous astrologers and he was respected a lot. That’s why you also got inclined towards astrology and human service. Due to the family environment since childhood, you also decided to follow the path of astrology and gradually progressed in that direction. Gradually your fame increased and people from far and wide started coming to your company for the relief of their sorrows and pains. You have not received any formal education in astrology, however, due to your unmatched practice and amazing grip on astrology, you know the complete difficulties of the person who comes to you without asking anything and suggests the way to solve them. Slowly people started getting benefits from your consultation and the number of people coming to you increased rapidly. Following the footsteps of your father, you never accept any money from anyone but accept whatever is voluntarily kept by the visitor. You have established Shri Lakshmi Narayan Seva Samiti for the welfare of the common people. By setting up Shri Lakshmi Narayan Free Hospital, common people are treated free of cost. You always organize Mahayagya every year for the past two decades for the welfare of the people and the welfare of all living beings. Your name has also been registered in the world record for such an unbroken event. Your sense of service and human welfare has also affected your son Shri Tanmay Joshi ji and he is also engaged in public welfare under your guidance by resolving to follow in the footsteps of his father.
