The owner of such unique qualities is Mr Pankaj Prasun, who is serving in the post of technical officer in the renowned organization Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow.
Born on January 2, 1984, in the courtyard of Dr Kamlesh Shukla ji and Mrs Vindhyavasini Devi ji, a resident of Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, Mr Pankaj Prasoon ji had started sprouting towards poetry since his adolescence. By the time you reached the age of high school, you started writing poems. Gradually your pen started moving towards proficiency in writing small jokes and satirical articles.
Even though your field of work has been related to science, but a corner of your mind has always been dedicated to poetry. Gradually the demand for your cheeky satirical poems started increasing. You were being invited to big poetry conferences from the country and abroad and you were being counted among the best satirists of the country. Today you have started becoming the pride of prestigious forums. Apart from very prestigious forums, you are also invited to recite poetry in top educational institutions of the country like the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Management. It is the dream of every poet to be invited to a poetry reading at Red Fort, you have been invited to a poetry reading at Red Fort in the year 2016. Because Mr Pankaj Prasoon ji is also a scientist, therefore many of his poems are related to science like – Kaise Bane Sahara Dil, Blood Pumping Ka Mara Dil, Pyaar Ghatta Hai, Fat Badha Hai, Cholesterol Ka Mara Dil etc.
Along with reciting poetry, books have also been written by you. Issued in the public interest, Panch-Prapanch, Khub Kahi, Satire Battisi, Crying while Laughing and Chhaon of Parmanu are your major works. You are also being awarded various honours daily. The most prestigious award of Uttar Pradesh Sahitya Sansthan, the Rangeya Raghav Award has been given to you in the year 2017. In the year 2018, you have also been honoured with the most prestigious Sahitya Shree Award. You have also received Dr K N Bhal Award for your book Parmanu Ki Chhaon, which is a unique achievement in itself. Today your name is counted among the best scholars of the country in the genre of satire. In the past, you have also been honoured with Vyang Vibhushan and you have also been honoured with the Young Achiever Award by the Governor of Maharashtra.
