Good habits are essential to make life successful. To be successful in life, every person needs to have some good habits, one of them is the habit of reading. Reading is not only a good habit but it also gives a creative approach to our thinking. Just as the rest of the body needs exercise, exercise is necessary for the brain too. Scientists believe that reading keeps a person mentally fresh and this habit, along with entertainment, is also helpful in better concentration, memory and relieving stress. The best way to develop and promote a good reading habit is to read newspapers every day. Reading newspapers makes us socially and intellectually aware because we get information about the country and the world through newspapers and at the same time we remain aware of current issues, achievements, discoveries, events, historical facts, etc.
Navabharat, a popular daily newspaper published by Navabharat Press in Chhattisgarh, registered a new world record on the 40th anniversary of its Bilaspur edition. Under the guidance of Managing Director Shri Sameer Maheshwari, a program was organized under which the students of Bharat Mata English Medium School, Bilaspur read the news published in “Navbharat Together” one by one. The amazing feat of most people reading newspapers in relay at one place in a sequential manner was recorded in the Golden Book of World Records as a world record with the title “Most people Reading Newspaper in Relay”. The provisional certificate was presented by Golden Book of World Records representative Mrs. Sonal Rajesh Sharma to Navbharat’s DGM Mr Sujit Bose and Editor Mr Arun Upadhyay. There was an atmosphere of joy among the entire Navbharat family and school students on the announcement of the world record. On the occasion of the establishment of Navbharat, Bilaspur, Asia Head of the Golden Book of World Records, Dr. Manish Vishnoi congratulated Navbharat on getting its name inscribed in golden letters in the Golden Book of World Records.
Principal Father Salin and teachers of Bharat Mata English Medium School, Bilaspur expressed gratitude to Navbharat for selecting their school to create this world record, along with this, the school children also expressed their feelings of happiness and pride in participating in this world record attempt which got included in the Golden Book of World Records.
