Manohar Gaushala located in Dharampura, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh, serves old and disabled cows. “Respect the cow, the cow is like a mother” is the slogan of Manohar Gaushala, which has become famous for its continuous kindness and service-oriented work, which started with just 18,000 square feet of land. Presently it is spread over 11 acres of land and 10 acres of rented land. The organization aims to build a self-sustaining cow shelter spread over 100 acres and 25 acres of dense forest where thousands of cows can live. The crop elixir produced at Manohar Gaushala helps farmers grow profitable crops and also prevents potential losses to crops due to inadequate water or nutrients. This organic water-retaining hydrogel is bringing unprecedented changes in agriculture and is becoming a favourite among Indian farmers. The crop nectar produced in Manohar Gaushala by the scientists of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University and Research Center has been said to be very useful for environmental protection and human health and further research work on it is going on. Under the guidance of the Managing Trustee of Manohar Gaushala, Mr. Akhil Jain (Padam Dakalia), 70,000 litres of crop nectar has been provided free of cost to the farmers so far to increase the fertility of the land and the quality of crops. Manohar Gaushala’s name was recorded as a world record with the title of “Largest Distribution of Sunlight Based Liquid Fertilizer” by the Golden Book of World Records for the distribution of natural pesticides made from sunlight and cow urine in the largest quantity.

Prabhu Parshvanath Panchkalyanak Puja and the 10th Foundation Day festival were celebrated with great pomp in the beautiful Gaushala located in Dharampura, Khairagarh, always ready for the work of cow service and dedicated to animal kindness. On the special occasion of Foundation Day, Manohar Gaushala was also given the honour of world record. This honour was given to the cowshed’s mat made from the dung of cow mother Soumya, known as Kamadhenu. This mat was manufactured under the special guidance of Akhil Jain (Padma Dakalia), Managing Trustee of Manohar Gaushala run by Mrs. Kamla Bai Kanhaiyalal Dakalia Charitable Trust. Made from cow dung and cow urine, 4,730 cow dung beads were used in this mat weighing 14.3 kg and 5’10” long by 3’06” wide. This special mat was made by 54 artisans over 11 months. This mat made from cow dung was recorded as a world record by the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “First Cow Dung Made Mat“. Mr. Akhil Jain (Padma Dakalia) was given the presence of honourable guests by Mrs. Sonal Rajesh Sharma, representative of the Golden Book of World Records, who was especially present at the World Record Certificate event. Managing Trustee of Manohar Gaushala, Mr. Akhil Jain said that this world’s first mat made from cow dung has been made as a gift to the Prime Minister of the country, Honorable Mr. Narendra Modi.

In this function organized at Manohar Gaushala, Dr. Vinay Bothra, Mahant Mr. Ramgyanidas Mahatyagi of Amravati, Gondia, Mr. Rajesh Barlota, Mr. Omprakash Barlota, President of Khairagarh Jain Samaj, Mr. Rajendra Dakalia, President of Amravati Gokulam Institute, Dr. Hemant Murke and scientists of Agricultural University along with a large number of cow service lovers from Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Bihar were present. Dr. Vivek Tripathi, Director of Research, at Agricultural University, who was present as a special guest in the program, praised the crop nectar produced in Manohar Gaushala and said that if such work starts happening in all the Gaushalas, then the income of the farmers of the country will increase a lot and very soon they will become rich.
