Yoga is a wonderful gift given by India to the world, which is celebrated every year on June 21 as “World Yoga Day” all over the world. This day is dedicated to promoting the importance of yoga and its benefits.

It is a matter of happiness that nowadays some talented children all over the world are rapidly adopting yoga and achieving many types of achievements. 11-year-old Samridhi Kaliya of Indian origin living in Dubai gave a very important message to the whole world through yoga. During a program organized at the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa, little Samridhi set a world record by performing 100 yoga postures at the fastest speed in a limited space. This work done by Samridhi was recorded as a world record by the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Fastest Hundred Yoga Postures Performed in Restricted Space“. Little Samridhi performed 100 different yoga postures in just 03 minutes 18 seconds in a 17×37 inch box.

Expressing happiness about her name being registered in the Golden Book of World Records, little Samridhi said that usually, people shy away from including yoga in their daily routine by making excuses of lack of time and place. She has made this effort to inspire those people to do yoga daily. People are surprised to see Samridhi’s yoga practice and doing the most difficult yoga postures easily at such a young age. Samridhi has won first place in many international yoga competitions. In the year 2019, Samridhi Kalia was also honoured with the “Pravasi Bharatiya Award” by the Indian Ambassador in Dubai. With dedication towards yoga and hard work, she has set world records many times and has got her name registered in the Golden Book of World Records. Today, Samridhi is a role model for many girls.
