Rubik’s Cube is one of the most loved toys today which is used as a puzzle by people of all ages and classes to develop their intelligence and skills. When you solve the Rubik’s Cube, you need more logical and creative thinking, developing your problem-solving skills. While solving it, you have to remember the special order of its colours according to the algorithm of the Rubik’s Cube, which is especially helpful in increasing your memory and concentration.

Just seven-year-old Anay Nayak of Vadodara, Gujarat made his city and his parents famous in the country and the world by solving the Rubik’s Cube quickly and setting two world records. Under the guidance of his Mentor, Rubik’s School Director Mr. Kushagra Pandya, Anay, a class 2 student of Navrachna International School, solved 4 different types of Rubik’s cubes (2X2, 3X3, Pyraminx, Skewb) in just 41.51 seconds and set his first world record in the Golden Book of World Records with the title “Most Types of Rubik’s Cubes Solved in One Minute”. In the same sequence of solving the Rubik’s Cube, little Anay demonstrated his fast speed and solved the 2X2 Rubik’s Cube in just 3.25 seconds. By solving the 2X2 Rubik’s Cube at the fastest speed, he set a second world record titled “Fastest Feat of Solving 2×2 Rubik’s Cube” and engraved his name in golden letters in the Golden Book of World Records. Dr. Manish Vishnoi, Asia Head of Golden Book of World Records and Mr. Subodh, who were present in the program, honoured the little cuber master Anay Nayak by presenting a certificate of the world record in the presence of Anay’s parents Dr. Soumya Nayak and Dr. Suhani Nayak. Under the successful training and guidance of Mr Kushagra Pandya, Anay has set a world record in the art of solving the Rubik’s Cube and got his name registered in the Golden Book of World Records as a world record holder at a very young age.

The city’s famous plastic and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Soumya Nayak said on this special achievement of his son “Anay started excelling in Rubik’s Cube from the age of four. Anay successfully attempted to solve four types of Rubik’s Cube – 2×2, 3×3, Pyramix and Cube – in less than a minute. Anay set a world record by solving four variations of the Rubik’s Cube in just 41.51 seconds, which is the shortest time ever taken by a cuber of his age.” Anay’s mother Dr. Suhani Nayak, who is an eye surgeon, expressed happiness and said that “during the Covid-19 pandemic, she had inspired Anay to join online coaching.
There he started learning rudimentarily, but learned very well in a very short time.” Today Anay has a collection of 60 Rubik’s Cubes of 15 different types. Little Master Anay’s grandfather Dr. Siddharth Nayak expressed happiness while congratulating and blessing his grandson on his name being registered in the Golden Book of World Records.
