The word “yoga” originates from the Sanskrit language and means “to join, to gather”. Yogic exercises have a sacred effect and balance the body, mind, consciousness and spirit. One of the primary benefits of yoga is its ability to promote physical health and flexibility. The various postures or asanas practised in yoga gradually stretch and strengthen the muscles, improving the flexibility of the joints. Through regular practice, practitioners experience increased energy levels, improved posture and a reduction in the risk of physical ailments. One of the various postures and asanas of yoga is Chakrasana. Chakrasana is a great yoga asana, which is also called Wheel Pose in English. It is also named Urdhva Dhanurasana in yoga. It benefits every part of the body. Most importantly, it opens every muscle of your heart. Chakrasana Yoga is such a posture whose practice is considered quite difficult. To increase flexibility in the body and strengthen the muscles, trained yoga practitioners also practice Wheel Pose Walk yoga.
Patanjali University student Kamal Sharma, who lives in Tohana, Haryana, has done such a feat in the field of yoga that he has inscribed the name of his district and state in golden letters on the world stage. He set a world record by covering a distance of 100 meters in the shortest time by walking in Chakrasana posture. Mr. Kamal Sharma did this amazing feat in just 1 minute 50 seconds. This feat of covering such a distance in Chakrasana posture in the shortest time was registered as a world record with the title of ” Fastest Performance of 100 Meter Chakrasana Race ” in the Golden Book of World Records. Mr. Kamal Sharma was honoured for this achievement by the famous spiritual guru Shri Avdheshanand ji in the presence of thousands of people during the program.
Mr. Kamal Sharma has already been honoured by many famous personalities for his amazing performance in the field of yoga, among these famous personalities is world-famous yoga guru Swami Ramdev. On getting his name registered in the Golden Book of World Records, the District Incharge and Tehsil Incharge of Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Mr. Tarun Mehta, Mr. Chandan Arya, Anil Mehta, Mr. Balvindra Singh and all the residents of the city sent their best wishes to Kamal Sharma.
