The world record in itself is very respectable. World record means only that which is different, unique, unique, that which is not common that is important. We have been reading since childhood that those names are written in golden letters in history, those who do something different, do something special, who has the power to take along not only their supporters but also their opponents because…
“निगाहें नीचे रखते हैं बुलंदी के निशां वाले
उठाकर सर नहीं चलते, जमीन पर आसमां वाले”
It means that those whose names have been immortalized in history must have done something extraordinary. Any great work always starts with an idea. Thought power is very important. In the words of well-known litterateur Dr Ved Pratap Vaidik, “The power of thought is more powerful than nuclear pow
If we think, we will find that the idea of the atom, the origin of the atom, and its origin is also the result of an ‘idea’. Whatever is new, and original in this world, there is an ideal power behind it. When anything new is established, whether it is a record, an object, a rule, or whatever it is, behind it there is either a need or a desire, a desire, passion, all these motivations work. Are. Here I want to give an example of this that today who do not know Ola or Uber. It also originated from an ‘idea’ and the motivation behind it was that of ‘necessity’. Somebody thought “Why not have the taxi come to me instead of me going to the taxi”. It was from this idea that Ola and Uber emerged. There is something similar in my life as well. “What is achieved is enough”, but apart from that there is much more to be done, to be achieved, to be established because THE SKY HAS NO LIMITS.
Just as the sky is infinite, man’s thinking is also infinite, his intentions, his emotions, and his passion cannot be measured under any scale. This motivation works behind all the people who have touched heights in the world. This motivation gives us energy, strength, courage, the ability to fight against adversities, enthusiasm not to be afraid of failures, strength to face opponents and doesn’t know what else. That’s why it is very important to have that fire and passion in every human being that we have to do something, establish something special in this life.
All this is God’s boon and the invisible power that works behind all this is “Blessings of Elders” and “Special Affection of that Supreme Being” because without all these nothing is possible. With this, no one can help us until we make efforts ourselves. The concept of world records came to my mind when I helped someone else with the Golden Book of World Records at an excellent level. I have been involved twice before as a participant in different compilations of world records. Apart from this, world record holder Mrigendra Raj has also written my biography. But even then no such thought had crossed my mind. But just as it is said that when we help someone else, our way also opens automatically. The same happened to me. I helped a lady a lot to set a world record for the Golden Book of World Records, showed her the right path, and gave her contacts then God also inspired me to do this work that when I can help others to set world records then why can’t I set a world record myself. This is where the idea of setting this world record came from and we have already told how important the power of thought is. After this, something had to be done which was not done earlier, so I thought why not connect sports with literature and poetry? Because somewhere poetry and sports are linked. Many similarities can be seen in both such as strength mental, physical, struggle, experience, practice, continuity, dynamism, and infinity are essential in both. In this way, we can reconcile the two.
I researched this and then prepared a list of Arjuna Award winners, in which those players were specially included, about whom many of us do not even know about their game. Those who are famous don’t need any more achievement that’s why I kept those names away and compiled such names which we don’t even know about. It would be ironic that we do not even know the names of those who have received such a big award for India, we do not even know the names of their sports. While doing this work, I got a lot of information that how many types of sports are being played in India and prestigious awards like the Arjuna Award have also been conferred on them, but we do not have even an iota of information about them. My target has been to involve most of the youth in this because when they select the topic, they will see information related to them on the internet. In this process, he will try to collect information about them by taking two-three names and will select the one which he finds appropriate. In this pretext, he will get information about 2 to 3 players, in their game, which will help them somewhere in the future.
The whole process took about 40 days. The process from concept to completion of the project was very interesting. Everything else went very well in doing this work. Still, the biggest thing is that it is a dedication towards our country, towards our sportspersons who have brought laurels to the country of India and this spirit is also reflected in all our participants who have expressed their gratitude to their country India, their Arjuna award-winning sportspersons through a soulful composition. Firstly the project was duly applied to the Golden Book of World Records which was officially granted on 31st March 2021 by the Golden Book of World Records under Claim ID – GBWR /Asia/21/in/0323. After that, a list of 133 Arjuna Award winners who have been related to different types of sports was prepared. Thereafter, through various mediums, the names of these 133 Arjuna awardees were given to various eminent poets, writers, creators, educationists, students etc. of the country. After this, all of them completed their work in a process of about 25 days. It may be noted that this plan was first prepared for 111 Arjuna Award-winning players but after completion of that, on the request of many friends, permission was again officially obtained from GBWR for 133 (+22) players. Thereafter, through various mediums, the names of these 133 Arjuna awardees were given to various eminent poets, writers, creators, educationists, students etc. of the country. The participants were asked to take one topic each and they were also informed about the necessary rules for poetry creation that you have to limit your creation to only 20 to 25 lines. After this, all of them completed their work in a process of about 25 days.
This poetry compilation is completely based on research and the creators of the country and abroad have been included in it. He will read the life of these players completely, imbibe them and then present the essence of their life in 20 to 25 lines which will be very inspiring in itself. This poetry collection is completely based on sports. Along with this, the whole project was worked upon with such a feeling that they too would be inspired to play. With God’s infinite grace and everyone’s best wishes, we submitted all the documents of this project to GBWR on 03 May 2021. We achieved the target of a world record on 14th May 2021 on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya for which we got official approval. It has been entered in the Golden Book of World Records with the title “First poetry book on Arjuna Award recipients”.
I am happy that not only eminent litterateurs, educationists etc. of our country are included in this, but along with this, migrant litterateurs from abroad have also participated. Which Kapil Kumar ji (Belgium), Shalini Verma ji (Qatar), Dr Rama ji (Japan), Dr Seema Bhanti ji (America), Dr Shipra Shilpi ji (Germany), Dr Deepa Palkil are from Kaliyat ji (Oman). Now if it is said that this poetry collection is of international level, then there will be no exaggeration. Along with this, senior scientists and advocates from ISRO are also included in our poetry collection.
SPAA (Sports Academy Association of India) is cooperating with us in this pious work. SPAA is an institution recognized by the Ministry of MHRD, Government of India, which offers undergraduate, postgraduate, management, etc. courses in various sports such as Kabaddi, Badminton, and Wrestling. This institution provides opportunities from the school level to the national level. This organization is emphasizing the fact that ‘sports’ should also be linked with employment. Along with this, IHRO (International Human Rights Organization) is also with us. International Human Rights Organization IHRO of which I am the General Secretary of Delhi State. I have been associated with this organization for the last almost 4 years. When I talked to IHRO’s World Chairman Dr. Nem Singh Premi ji, he also liked this concept of the Golden Book of World Records very much and all the participants were awarded E-Certificate of Appreciation by International Human Rights Organization (IHRO). I thank Dr Nem Singh Ji for boosting our morale.
This poetry collection is unique in itself because first of all these poems have been obtained in our official language Hindi only. We have got its brochure made in the official language Hindi only. In the WhatsApp group that has been created in the name of Golden Book of World Records, all the information has been sent in Hindi language only. Secondly, the most senior poetess (Mrs Motia Sharma, aged about 78 years) and the youngest poetess (Pragya Sharma, aged about 12 years) have also been included in this compilation. All the participants have offered their expressions, and their wreaths to their Arjuna awardee in a very beautiful way. There is so much emotional propensity in them that even you will not be able to live without being emotional.
Along with this, some or the other divine relation is reflected in these Arjuna award winners and participants that when we see the photos of both of them i.e. participants and Arjuna award winners, then somewhere the relation of rebirth is visible in them. Because all these participants are spiritually connected with these players. All of them did extensive research on these players. Collected all the information about his life, his character, his struggle, his achievements and important events of his life. After that, he presented the essence of his life in totality in a poem of a maximum of 25 lines. It is ‘Gagar Mein Sagar’ that you could present someone’s life philosophy in 25 lines.
Soon a book on International Poetry Anthology is also going to be published whose work is in progress. I do not believe that this work has created a world record in itself, along with this it will be compiled in the form of a book and will be immortal forever because words are Brahman. We will endeavour to release this book on a grand stage with a grand ceremony. We will try to cordially invite all our participants to this, along with that we will also try to request all our Arjuna award-winning players to attend this grand event. This is a plan, to what extent we can be successful in it, only the circumstances can tell. Because at present the whole world is passing through the tragedy of Corona epidemic. It is difficult to say anything about the future. Still, our plans are bigger. We have also informed many organizations like Sports Authority of India, etc. about our program, this world record, from which no response is yet to come. Our willpower is very strong, and meaningful efforts are also being made. What happens next depends on the will of the Lord.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to all my participants and I thank them all for being with me in such a big goal and supporting me in this pious work. Along with this, I thank all my elders, God, without whose support, inspiration, blessings, whose good wishes I cannot do anything. For a woman her family is paramount if she does not cooperate then she is not able to do anything. In this pious work, I express my special gratitude to my husband Shri Neeraj Sharma ji (without whom I am incomplete, who stays with me in every difficulty and always motivates me with his invaluable guidance). I am fortunate that God has blessed me with such a wonderful life partner who is happy to see me grow. Along with this, I thank my two daughters Pratishtha Sharma, Pragya Sharma and my entire family.
I hope that the blessings of all these will always be with me. There is still a lot to do in life. As I have said above that the infinity of the sky tells us a lot. Nothing is more motivator than nature. If we agree then everything is there, if we don’t agree then nothing. The continuous movement of rivers, the rising and setting of the sun-moon at the appointed time, the depth of the ocean, and the active functioning of all living beings, always teaches us to be constantly dynamic, active and moving forward on our path of action. We should learn from all this and move forward. In this whole campaign of Golden Book of World Records, I would like to especially thank Dr Digvijay Sharma, Yeti Sharma, Dr Arvind Kumar Upadhyay, Acharya Suresh Sharma “Bhardwaj”, Advocate Anuradha, Prashant Awasthi and Aditya Pratap Singh who provided their invaluable contribution and time to me. Along with this, I also express my special gratitude to Tehan Katara ji, our technical expert, for giving me his invaluable support. Continuity, dynamism, and positivity are essential to do anything else in future. With the infinite possibilities of the future, I again thank all of you whose cooperation I have been receiving spiritually.
