Lord Shri Ram and his devoted devotee Mahabali Hanuman ji are important in Indian Hindu Sanatan Dharma. In the Hindu religion, Hanuman ji is worshipped as the god who protects from all troubles and calamities, which is why he is also addressed as Sankatmochan Hanuman by the devotees, however, various types of worship are done to worship Hanuman ji. But among all the measures, the most popular is reciting Hanuman Chalisa. It is believed that Hanuman Chalisa written by Saint Shri Tulsidas Ji that all kinds of troubles and troubles related to life can be overcome by regular recitation of Hanuman Chalisa.
On the occasion of the 70th birthday of Mr. Shyam Sundar Mausun, a devotee of Mahabali Hanuman and founder of JKJ Jewelers Group, a grand and unique religious ritual was organized at Entertainment Paradise, Jaipur, Rajasthan. In this event, Sundar-Kand was recited by 1008 pundits invited from different places across the country, after which Hanuman Chalisa’s recitation was started. During the event, Hanuman Chalisa was recited more than 1 lakh 8 thousand times by 1008 pundits at the venue, reciting it 108 times. Due to such a large number of Hanuman Chalisa being recited by the highest number of Pandits in one place, this work was recorded as a world record in the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Largest Hanuman Chalisa Recitation Feet by Pandits”. The official certificate of the world record was given by Mr Alok Kumar, National Head of the Golden Book of World Records, who was specially present at the event.
During the event, Shri Ram Darbar was constructed on an 80-foot platform and 70 laddus of one kg each were offered to Lord Shri Ganesha for offering. Organizer of the event and Mr. Jatin Mosun of JKJ Jewelers Group expressed happiness over the creation of the world record. They said, “My grandfather has been reciting Hanuman Chalisa 108 times every day for the last 5 years. Seeing this, he came up with the idea of organizing this unique event for his grandfather on his 70th birthday. Then pundits from different parts of the country were contacted and invited to the program”. All the members of the Monsoon family expressed happiness over the making of the world record and the success of the ritual.
