In tales, stories, and some mythological texts, it is read and heard that a young child has done a remarkable feat, but Arindam Goud, the 5-year-old son of Mr. Arun Goud and now a resident of Delhi, originally from Sikanderpur Majra village of Sonipat in Haryana, reminded people of Bruce Lee’s quickness with his jaunty and tremendous punching. By the way, playing is a natural activity for children and it helps in the overall development of children. The sense of play that emerges in children at the age of four-five years, its spectrum is wider than before.

It so happened that on the fifth birthday of Arindam, born on December 22, 2015, their father Mr. Arun Gaur bought a punching bag from the market as a gift as per the son’s wish, on seeing which the son jumped up and forgetting his birthday, he became engrossed in it. Initially, the parents did not pay much attention to this behavior of the son considering it as childlike playfulness, but seeing Arindam’s dedication, they soon understood that instead of behaving normally, he is immersed in punching specially. Seeing the son’s complete dedication towards punching, the father started teaching him at his level and the son also started practicing for hours every day. The fragrance of the virtues of Master Arindam, who was studying in Class I at the Butterfly School in Delhi, started emanating from the boundary wall of the house and reaching the school. Seeing continuous meditation and fast punching, father Mr. Arun Gaur thought that why not try to register his son’s name in the world record, for this he contacted Golden Book of World Records, the world’s famous organization for registering world records. After knowing and understanding the entire process, Mr. Arun Gaur ji prepared the son by giving him the mental strength to make a world record, and finally, the day came on May 30, 2021, when this 5-year-old son of Maa Bharti earned a world record by putting 100 boxing punches in 13 seconds and 7 deci seconds. At the age of only 5 years, 5 months, and 8 days, Master Arindam became the first child in the world to do this unique feat, and this achievement was recorded in the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Fastest Hundred Boxing Punches”.

Not only the parents are proud of this matchless achievement of the son, but a lot of encouragement is being given by many eminent personalities as well. Today, Arindam has become a star at such a young age and wants to make the country proud by becoming the best boxer in the future. Indian philosophers consider life as a game and say –
“नायमात्मा बलहीनेन लभ्यो न च प्रमादात्तपसो वाप्यलिङ्गात्”
That is, this soul cannot be achieved by the weak, nor can it be achieved in the absence of continuity in the effort to achieve it. Thus Master Arindam is marching ahead on a great path in life and will achieve a place in the future as a bright star in the Indian constellation.
