Virendra Vikram Singh’s inclination towards Yoga was due to the sudden unwell of his father Shri Shiv Bux Singh ji in his childhood. Father had become very ill, and even after a lot of allopathy treatment, he was not getting rest, so one day he went to Arogya Niketan Center in Gorakhpur. Where he was treated through natural methods, yoga etc. and as a result he became completely healthy. After recovering, when he came home, he also brought some books, which were provided to him by Arogya Niketan Center, after reading them he had to do regular yoga etc. Due to not being able to do the Yog Kriyas mentioned in that book by himself, the father asked his son i.e. Virendra Vikram Singh to get him done with Yoga while doing it, the son became very fond of Yogic Kriyas and he also started doing them every day. Later on, Mr. Virendra Vikram Singh Ji after completing his studies joined the banking service, but did not leave yoga and continued to do it throughout his life. Born on December 2, 1954, Mr Singh Sahab started rigorous yoga practice from the year 1968. Due to this, gradually the practice of doing yoga extraordinarily went on and you started practising yoga like an excellent yoga seeker. You also started practicing many types of most difficult headstands and first, you did 18 types of headstands and then you did a wonderful feat of doing 23 types of headstands. You contacted the office of the Golden Book of World Records to register it in the world record. Keeping in view your wonderful practice, after a thorough test, on 21 June 2018, your name was registered in the world record.
You are also proficient in conch shell washing, a very difficult discipline in yoga. By drinking more than 5 litres of water in 50 minutes, you removed it by conch shell method and again registered your name in the Golden Book of World Records on 28 June 2019. In May 2020, breaking your record, you created a new world record for doing 36 types of headstands, which will soon be recorded in the Golden Book of World Records. Your name is also registered in other institutions. To make more and more people stay healthy through yoga, you teach yoga by going to schools, colleges, various programs and even in prisons, and keep awakening everyone to do it. Looking at this extraordinary penance of yours, you are often honoured by many institutions.
