EPACK Prefab, one of India’s leading pre-engineered building (PEB) manufacturers, has created history by constructing the world’s fastest-built structure in a record time of just 150 hours. The project, erected at Mambattu, Andhra Pradesh, is a testament to EPACK Prefab’s commitment towards innovative and fast-paced construction.
The building, covering a total area of 151,000 square ft., was fully constructed using advanced prefabrication and PEB technology. With a total structural tonnage of 615 metric tons, including sheets, EPACK Prefab meticulously planned each phase of construction to achieve rapid progress. The primary structure was completed by the 48th hour, followed by roofing by the 90th hour, and cladding by the 120th hour, culminating in a fully functional building within the set timeline.
The project was scrutinized by the team of Golden Book of World Records. On 26th Nov; Dr. Manish Vishnoei (Asia Head, Golden Book of World Records) felicitated the Provisional Certificate of World Record to Mr. Sanjay Singhania, (MD, EPACK Prefab), and Mr. Nikhil Bothra (Executive Director) in the presence of project team and media persons. He appreciated the vision, teamwork & dedication of EPACK Prefab and congratulted for entering the name with Golden Worlds in the Golden Book of World Records.
The newly completed building highlights the potential of prefabricated building technology in addressing India’s infrastructure and industrial needs quickly and sustainably.
Mr. Sanjay Singhania, Managing Director of EPACK Prefab, commented on the milestone achievement, stating, “It is a great privilege for us at EPACK Prefab to have constructed India’s fastest-built structure using PEB technology. Our aim with this project was not only to demonstrate the capabilities of PEB for rapid construction but also to promote a sustainable approach that meets modern industrial requirements. PEB is truly the future of construction, and we look forward to setting further benchmarks in the industry as PEB solutions gain greater acceptance.”
