In Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, a five-day-long Sri Vishnu Sahasranaam Paath Utsav was organized with the desire for the welfare of all human beings and the world. During the event, Sri Vishnu Sahasranaam Paath was done by Acharyas, men and women from morning to night for five days. In this event, a world record was set by the devotees and followers by reciting the name of Lord Vishnu the most number of times through Sri Vishnu Sahasranaam Paath, which was registered as a world record in the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Largest Feat of Reciting names of Lord Vishnu“. The certificate of the world record was given to the organizers by Dr. Manish Vishnoei, Asia Head GBWR, Asia Head of the Golden Book of World Records.
People from capital Raipur and other cities of the state also participated in this program of Sahasranaam Paath of Lord Vishnu, in which people from Bhilai, Andhra and Vishakhapatnam also registered their presence. The member of the organizing committee informed that in this 5-day program, Kalash Yatra was carried out on the first day, after that the recitation of Sahasranaam of Lord Vishnu was started. The program was successfully organized and concluded without any obstacles. All the devotees participated in this event of Vishnu Sahasranaam Paath with full energy and devotion.
