Lord Ram is considered to be the 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lord Ram has been called ‘Maryada Purushottam’ i.e. the best man among men. Many such characteristics of Lord Ram’s character make him an ideal for the people. Lord Ram’s entire life was full of struggles. His importance in India is not because he faced many difficulties in life, but because he faced all those difficulties with great dignity. Lord Ram has set an example for everyone with his conduct. Lord Shri Ram was an ideal man, son, brother and husband and an ideal and efficient ruler. Shri Ram was a justice loving ruler, he ruled very well, hence even today examples of Ramrajya are given. Maharishi Valmiki wrote many stories about Lord Shri Ram. Apart from Maharishi Valmiki, the famous great poet Tulsidas has also explained the importance of Shri Ram to the people through his writings. Lord Ram has done many great things in his life which have given a glorious history to the Hindu religion.
The consecration of Lord Ram temple is going to take place in Ayodhya on January 22, where before this, different religious rituals are being performed across the country. Children are also participating enthusiastically in these religious rituals. On January 19, 2024, in the Dussehra Maidan of Indore, the city of religion and culture, children of 107 CBSE schools made more than 40 thousand paintings and put them in the exhibition, in this exhibition, children prepared paintings of Mata Sita, Lord Laxman and Lord Hanuman in addition to Lord Rama. This exhibition was organized by Indore Municipal Corporation, Indore Sahodaya Schools Complex and the Association of United CBSE Schools. This exhibition based on the theme of Lord Ram was recorded as a world record by the Golden Book of World Records with the title of “Largest Display of Paintings on Theme Lord Ram”. After officially declaring the world record, the provisional certificate was given by Dr. Manish Vishnoi, Asia Head of Golden Book of World Records and National Head Mr. Alok Kumar, who were specially present at the event. The certificate of the world record was presented to the Association of United CBSE Schools President Mr. Anil Dhupar, Chairperson of Indore Sahodaya School Complex Mrs. Isabel Swami and Mayor Mr. Pushyamitra Bhargava during the program in the presence of Special Guest Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya, MLAs Mr. Ramesh Mendola, Mrs. Malini Gaur and Mrs. Madhu Verma.
Looking at the exhibition, it seemed as if the children had displayed all the episodes of Ramayana in the form of paintings. In this exhibition, beautiful pictures from Ram’s birth to Uttarkand were seen. Chairperson of Indore Sahodaya School Complex, Mrs. Isabel Swami ji said, “A maximum of 1000 and a minimum of 500 paintings were ordered from each school. The hard work of more than 2000 students and more than 500 teachers gave shape to this exhibition.” President of the Association of United CBSE Schools, Mr. Anil Dhupar said, “Students were provided information about Lord Ram, Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas for making paintings and videos related to Shri Ram were also shown. On this basis, the children made paintings which were displayed in this exhibition. Completing this entire work in a week is no less than a record.” On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, present in the program, encouraged the children and sang the bhajan based on Lord Ram ‘Meri Jhopdi Ke Bhaag Aaj Khul Jayenge, Ram Aayenge Bhajan’. During the exhibition, everyone appreciated the paintings made by the children.
