The 93rd Martyr’s Day was celebrated in Shastri Nagar, the country’s capital Delhi. A program was organized under the leadership and guidance of Mr. Yadvinder Singh Sandhu, grandson of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and National President of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade and Behen Annu Arora Charitable Trust. During this, the people present paid tribute to the brave sons of Mother India, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru and honoured their sacrifice.

Shri Laxminarayan Dev Mahila Mandal, the women’s wing of Shri Swaminarayan Sampradaya Shri Laxminarayan Dev Gadi, Vadtal, started a campaign called “Cervical Cancer Eradication Campaign” to protect the mothers and sisters of the country from a serious disease like cervical cancer. During this special campaign, vaccination camps were organized for the prevention and control of cervical cancer.

Blood donation camps were organized across the country to mark the completion of 100 years of the Red Cross Society, established to protect human life. A unique blood donation camp was organized in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, under the leadership of Mr. Ashutosh Purohit, Chairman of the Red Cross Society Madhya Pradesh branch, under which blood donors donated blood continuously for 24 hours.

A unique method was adopted to spread awareness about traffic rules in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. Under the guidance of District Superintendent of Police Mr. Rajesh Agrawal (S.P. Raigarh), the police administration organized workshops in schools across the district. More than 70,000 students were educated and made aware of traffic rules through these workshops organized in 205 schools across the district.
