The word yoga is a Sanskrit word, which means to join or gather. Regularly practicing yoga increases both physical and mental abilities, and it also connects with spirituality. Yoga helps in making the body flexible and agile. With the help of yoga, people perform many amazing feats. Some such feats have been performed by B. K. Sinchana, who is only 11 years old. Due to these feats, her name has been recorded in the Golden Book of World Records.

On 12 March 2025, B. K. Sinchana, a girl of just 11 years and 02 months from Madikeri, created three world records by demonstrating her amazing yoga. Sinchana made the first record in the record book by walking 15 meters in Tiryang Mukhottanasana Pose in 1 minute with the title of “Longest Distance Traveled In Tiryang Mukhottanasana Yoga Pose in One Minute”. In the same sequence, B.K. Sinchana made his second record in the record book with the title of “Longest Performance of Mriga Mukhasana Yoga” by performing Mriga Mukhasana Yoga for 1 minute 48 seconds. In the same sequence, B.K. Sinchana made his third record in the record book with the title of “Longest Performance of Urabhrasana Yoga” by performing Urabhrasana Yoga for 1 minute 4 seconds. These three feats of B.K. Sinchana were recorded in golden letters in the Golden Book of World Records. Present at the event was Dr. Maneesh Visnoei (Asia Head, GBWR) who confirmed all the records and presented the record certificate to B.K. Sinchana.
