Yoga is a science of living life in the right way, so it is necessary to include it in daily life. It works on all the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional aspects of a person’s life. Yoga means unity or bond. The origin of this word is from the Sanskrit language, which means to join. On a spiritual level, this joining means the individual consciousness becomes one with the Universal Consciousness. On a practical level, yoga is the best way to balance and harmonize the body, mind and emotions. This success is achieved by doing yoga or asanas. Thus yoga is a way of life and also the ultimate goal in itself.
In yoga, various Prakash Asanas are done, one of them is Padma Mayurasana. Padma means lotus and Mayur is called a peacock, which means this asana is done in peacock posture. Padma Mayur Asana is considered very beneficial for our physical strength. There has been more than one Karmayogi who has done this in the land of India and even at present this tradition continues unabated.
