Today everyone is surprised to see the passion and love of 18-year-old student Shruti Shivre of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for dance. Shruti Shivre, a BBA student of Shri Vaishnav Mahavidyalaya, Indore, brought laurels to her city and parents by setting a world record due to her passion for dance. Shruti Devendra Shivre had decided at an early age that she would create a world record by dancing continuously day and night. She fulfilled this dream of hers at the age of 18. While the whole world was celebrating the New Year, on the other hand, Shruti started dancing on 1 January 2021 with the resolution to dance day and night and created a world history by dancing continuously for 79 hours and 10 minutes 15 seconds, which was recorded as a world record with the title of “Longest Dance Marathon” in the Golden Book of World Records. During this period of her dance practice, Shruti danced a total of 1,369 songs. For dancing to the maximum number of songs simultaneously, Shruti’s name was registered in the Golden Book of World Records as a world record with the title of “Dance Performed on Most Songs in a Relay“. Due to her dedication and passion for dance, Shruti established two world records simultaneously and brought fame to the city of Indore on the world stage.

Shruti Shivre’s father Mr. Devendra Shivre expressed his happiness on setting the world record and said that “during Shruti’s dance performance, the people of the neighbourhood along with the family were busy encouraging her day and night, Shruti has been fond of dancing since childhood”. Even before setting the world record, Shruti received many awards in the field of dance. Today, the whole of Indore is saluting Shruti Shivre’s spirit.
