State Government Provincial Civil Service senior officer and former administrator Mahakal Mandir Ujjain Shri Suraj Nagar Ujjaini, while in administrative service, remained an unbroken literature lover and always engaged in the pursuit of literature. Your compositions have been recorded twice in the Golden Book of World Records. You are counted among the top extemporaneous poets and eminent lyricists of the film world. The songs written by you have been sung by renowned singers including T-Series, a well-known name in the music world. More than 5 dozen albums have also come out. A hymn written for Mahakal has been recorded in 10 languages. The Story of Hindi 125 Songs is the first book of 125 songs in any language of the world.
On February 16, 2020, your name has been registered in the Golden Book of World Records for composing a maximum number of songs in the historical city of Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh. You have done unmatched writing on completely untouched subjects like Ramcharitmanas and the natural environment described in Ramayana, birds, herbs, mountains etc.
Apart from this, various other compositions were also done by you and for many years, the writing of Pratah Vandan / Sandhya Bandhan, translation of original Ramayana, etc. You are the pride of big Mushairas and Kavi Sammelans. Many standard books have been composed by you, in which the main ones are Courage is High, Mahakal Aradhana, Hanuman Aradhana, Geeta Shatak, Kisan Muskuraya to Desh Muskuraya etc. You keep on writing continuously about the cultural heritage of the country and also about the major events of the world. The songs written for films by Mr Suraj Nagar Ujjaini, a resident of the small village Gidori in Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh, born to father late Khem Chandra Nagar and mother Mrs Madhubai, have also been nominated for the Filmfare Award.
