In Madhya Pradesh’s Indore city, a special event was held on the day of Pushya Nakshatra, in which Dr. Sushma Khandelwal of the city performed Swarnaprashan Sanskar by giving Swarnaprashan drops to the children as this ceremony was performed in a large number. So Dr. Sushma Khandelwal thought of recording this as a world record and she shared the information of this event through application to Golden Book of World Records. After the approval of the application for the world record by the Golden Book of World Records team, Dr. Sushma Khandelwal, on the day of Pushya Nakshatra, on October 17, 2022, gave Swarnaprashan drop to 213 children by reciting shlokas herself during an event. This entire Swarnaprashan ceremony was recorded in the Golden Book of World Records with the title “Largest Swarnaprashan Feat in a Relay”. Dr. Manish Vishnoi, Asia Head, GBWR present on the occasion felicitated Dr. Sushma Khandelwal by giving her the world record certificate, medal, and badge.

Dr. Sushma Khandelwal, who is also a renowned Nadi Vaidya, has performed Swarnaprashan Sanskar for thousands of children in the last 15 years and also makes drops for children. Dr. Sushma told that in this 15 medicines of the highest level are cultured in Gir cow’s ghee, then honey and gold are mixed in it. It has two doses one which is given at home and a booster dose which is given by an expert after reciting a special shloka. Swarnaprashan increases children’s immunity, memory power, intellectual capacity, physical development, and digestive power and is very beneficial for children with many diseases.
