The birth anniversary of Jagatguru Lord Shri Krishna is celebrated every year on Janmashtami. It is believed that Lord Shri Krishna ji incarnated in the form of Lord Swaminarayan ji to guide his devotees in this Kaliyuga and re-established Sanatan Dharma with the Ekantik Panth. He propagated and spread the religion throughout his life and before returning to Akshardham, he established Lakshminarayan Devgaddi (Vadtal Gadi) and Nar Narayan Devgaddi (Ahmedabad Gadi) based on Vadtal and Ahmedabad temples.

Just as Shri Krishna was born on Ashtami as the eighth son of Mother Devaki and Vasudev in Dwapar Yuga to save the world from unrighteousness and sin. Similarly, the birth anniversary of Param Pujya Dharm Dhurandhar 1008 Shree Acharya Shree Ajendraprasadji Maharaj Shree, the Gaddipati of Shree Lakshminarayan Devgadi of Swaminarayan sect and the eighth descendant of Lord Shree Swami Narayan, is also celebrated on the day of Janmashtami. On the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav in the form of Mangal Pravesh in the 75th year of Maharaj Shri, a swing was constructed with notes worth Rs 75 lakh at Vrittalaya Viharam Shri Swaminarayan Temple in Godhra city of Panchmahal district.

Apart from Indian currency notes of Rs 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 500, currencies of 5 countries including America were used to decorate this unique swing made during the Hindola Festival. This artistic swing made of notes worth Rs 75 lakh remained the centre of attraction among the devotees. After hours of hard work, this swing was prepared from the notes, and the swing festival was celebrated at Swaminarayan Temple in Godhra. This swing was constructed by Lakshminarayandev Yuvak Mandal, Godhra under the guidance of Param Pujya 108 Shree Bhavi Acharya Shree Lalji Maharaj Nrigendra Prasadji Maharaj Shree.
